Apple says it has sold (not shipped) nine million iPhones over the weekend. That number is up substantially from last year, even accounting for the extra launch countries. Any way you look at it, that’s a lot of cheese iPhones.  In directly correlated news, RIM Blackberry will probably be sold to a private equity firm for less than five billion (even less than Nokia).
